I have used Vitacost as my prime vendor for vitamins and supplements for about 5 years. Until recently I was exceptionally happy with them in terms of selection, price, service and delivery.
But this year their service and delivery have gone totallt down the sewer. More and more they don't have the advertised products in stock, and demand that if you want them to ship the portion(s) of an order that they do miraculously have in stock you must agree to let them charge you a separate shipping charge for each item (or set of items) as they become available or the won't ship until every item is in stock (which may be 60 days or more depending on their estimated times of arrival). They rely on the fact that when you place an order you probably have a need and will let thewm get away with additional shipping charges - which in the case of my current order could cost me as much as 4 times their advertised shipping rate. It is unacceptable to have them make the customer pay for their inability to maintain their inventory.
