My Latest Obsession...Reward TV

The Bottom Line This is a new concept in pay sites...this one is fun and it actually sends prizes! Read my update if you don't believe!
I am not sure if this is where this review belongs...if not, I am sure someone will let me know!
My latest obsession is a website called RewardTv.com I came across it one day while looking around one of my favorite freebie sites. At the time, Reward TV was in beta stage, so I decided to join and give it a try...what I discovered is a true obsession! On November 1st, it came out of beta and is now available for all to play!
Reward Tv is just as it’s name implies, you get rewards for watching television, then logging onto the site to answer trivia questions about the shows you watched the night before. Attention to detail is a plus for you if you want to earn more points. They even ask a lot of questions about the commercials included in the episode of whatever you were watching. That has been my downfall so far because I use commercial breaks as refreshment breaks...or bathroom breaks...which ever is appropriate at the time.
The point system is pretty basic. Most of the questions if answered correctly, will earn 100 points...but beware...the commercial questions are generally the place to get extra points because they consist of 4 parts with each part earning anywhere from 100 to 300 points. If you manage to remember all the parts and get to the last part of the question, they ask you to rate the commercial from “I liked it a lot” all the way down to “I disliked it a lot”...it doesn’t matter how you answer it...you get points either way.
The point system is important because the more points you earn, the better prize you can receive.
When the site was still in beta, I got enough points my first time playing to get a $5.00 gift certificate from KFC...which was promptly delivered to my mail box and was used this past weekend because I had a craving for fried chicken and was too lazy to cook it myself.
There are sweepstakes you can enter for money...things like “Pay My Rent” which is a $1000 check with which you can use to pay your rent...or whatever. Also they have a category where you can enter to win things like a trip to Hollywood...my favorite place though is the Reward Tv Store...that’s where you can find things like stereo systems and DVD Players.
I believe that once you check this place out, you will become hooked just like I did. I make sure the first place I go every morning when I go online is RewardTv.com...it really is a lot of fun!

Since my review, long, long, ago, many things have changed at Rewardtv.com, and all the changes are for the better!!!
They now have auctions where you can bid for things you want. In the time I have been a member I have been very pleased that I won several auctions and actually received the prize I bid on!!!
The first thing I won from the auction was a George Forman Grill. Then I won $30 in Taco Bell gift certificates. Then I won a $25 Sears gift certificate. Then I won a $25 Pizza Hut gift certificate. Then I won a $25 WalMart gift certificate!
You see...watching a lot of television CAN be rewarding!!!
