Pros: Clothes come out CLEAN, intelligent machine does the work for you, delay start is fabulous!
Cons: High price, can't regulate temperature for delicates/hand washables. Keeps beeping at end of cycle.
The Bottom Line: HIGHLY recommend this washing machine. Easy to use, it's intelligent and takes care of all the quirks one usually encounters with washers for you. Cleans AMAZINGLY well!

| luvmywasher's Full Review: Siemens ultraSenseT 3.7 Cu. Ft. 15-Program Super C... |
I recently purchased this washing machine and have done several loads on various settings. Have done white/cottons on super temp, other cottons in hot, jeans/towels in warm, delicate items on delicate with gentle spin, have tried power wash, delay start - all with excellent results. The power wash cycle takes 2 hours to complete but boy is it worth it. I had white socks that were absolutely filthy (almost black!) and they came out WHITE. I also added a little OXY-Clean to the detergent to help, but with hot temperatures and such a long wash cycle, it's almost a given. By the way, you really need only a *small* amount of detergent as it uses so little water. I use about 1/5th of a capful and it's sufficient. I also used regular Tide liquid detergent - have not yet tried the Arm & Hammer Fabricare which many recommended for FL machines.
The super spin cycle whirrrs at 1000rpm and my floor literally shakes, but I'm also on a main floor of an old house, so that would explain things - but really, at 1000rpm, what do you expect? The machine however is as stable as can be and does not "walk" at all. It stays put even during the max extract spin cycle. It's also neat the way it balances back and forth to make sure the drum is not unbalanced. It continues to do so and only goes into high spin once it's balanced. Gotta love it.
It's extremely quiet during the wash cycle and it really only gets louder during the spin and rinse cycles. I can hear the swoooshing sound but my laundry room is also right outside my office - still not loud enough to disturb me and I'm sensitive to noisiness. Compared to the regular top-load machines however, it's pretty quiet! My older washing machine (top-load) would definitely have driven me crazy if I had to sit near it while working.
Tried the delay start which is a blessing, as I can program the machine to start the wash up to 19 hours away. Love this feature! I can have laundry done and ready to put in the dryer by the time I wake up. Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous.
I recommend you get steel braided hoses, much better quality and durability for this kind of machine. The door is very solid, feels like I'm opening up a vault! It's nice and heavy and has a thick glass window on the inside and a plastic covering on the outside. The controls are very easy to use, although I wish the temperature and cycles could be regulated separately. For example, with delicates I have no choice in water temp. The machine goes automatically with cold. Small detail, but would be a nice extra.
The Siemens (unlike the BOSCH) does NOT require that you install a 220V outlet - this was a major factor for me. The price is high but you get what you pay for. All in all, this baby has got to be the nicest washing machine I have EVER used. Highly recommend it!
