My exprience's with circumcision (or should I say my sons' exprience's)

The Bottom Line Due to my oldest son's experience I will have any son afterwards circumcised.
When my oldest child was born, I was 15 and didn't even really know what circumcision was at the time. I decided to have it done at the drs office due to finances. Well by the time he was to get it done, I had insurance that wouldn't cover it except at birth or as a medical need. That was fine and I continued to care for it as I was instructed at the hospital. All was fine until he was 1 yr old. At that point the foreskin was adhereing and causing him problems. His dr suggested getting him circumcised at that point. I agreed because they would be doing it under a general anesthetic. For a week my poor baby cried every time he pee'd. I swore at that point I would never put another child through having to have it done at a later point.
9 yrs later I gave birth to my second son and not only did I want him circumcised for those reasons but my husband wanted it done because he was and everyone we knew that was having boy's was having it done (didn't want him to be different). So we had the procedure done in the hospital using EMLA cream. It was done in my room and he didn't cry except about being held and it wasn't done until he calmed down. There were no problems at all having it done this way.
I know many people have different reasonings for either having their child circumcised or not. This is just the story of why I chose to have my son's done. If my oldest son hadn't had problems due to not being circumcised (it could've been I was pulling the foreskin back too far but when I showed the dr how I was doing it he said I was doing it properly) than my youngest son might not have had it done.
