Pros: Stylish, Easy to Use, Easy to install,
Cons: Premium Price for the Kitchen Aid Name. The 27 inch - a bit small
The Bottom Line: For a mid range stainless steel oven it's good. People who spend more are either wasting their money or professional chefs. Don't get caught up in the Professional Series Type

Have used this oven for 4 months so far and no problems. I am not a true oven person and have not even read thru the manual. Just know the basics of turning it on at the desired temperature and when it reaches it, it beeps. Just key in the desired temp and then press on - that's it.
Nice looking style with large handle. Display panel is very chic but I worry about the digits scraping off eventually if pressed alot. When I compared with other brands (GE Profile Prof, Jenn Air - they were all in the similar price range but I guess the bottom line is looks and matching other built in appliances. As I bought a Kitchen Aid Gas cooktop, I felt like I had to go with Kitchen Aid also. They do both have a nice sleek comtemp look.
The convection feature is great as it cooks the food faster and more evenly. The air comes out of the bottom. Apparently there is a conversion table that automatically recalculates the time require for cooking using convection. I have yet to use it but generally drop the temp I cook it at usually by 50 degrees or so.
Did a self install of this oven. Quite simple by connecting 3 wires. I'm not a handy man either. Note that the clock also goes thru the 220 Volt supply. Many ovens have it on a separate feed of 120V. Make sure you measure the space you will be installing the unit to ensure it fits. They provide some trim kit to hide imperfected cuts. I could not manage to mount my oven with screws despite the mfger saying this is dangerous. However, the oven doesn't move when I open the door as it's pretty much snug and sitting flat at the bottom.
For the pricy $2000 Cdn ($1500US) I paid for it, it doesn't seem worth it as I'm not a baker. I rarely bake or roast but I may have to more often now that I spent the $$. I guess it's more a decorating piece in a kitchen these a days. It's all about BUILT IN, STAINLESS STEEL, AND A SEMI EXPENSIVE BRAND. This is what the new homeowners are looking for and caught up in. I could not justify paying double for brands like Miele or Dacor or Viking. That's purely a status symbol. But then again I did pay a premium for the Kitchen Aid brand (despite only being Whirlpool in disguise). I guess I sort of got caught in this frenzy too but I choose to go midway and not overboard like others. It's a happy medium and I would recommend it for people that can see the above logic.
I also have a Kitchen Aid Gas Cooktop that i recently purchased with 5 burners (you can see the review in Epinions also). Also in my kitchen is a Subzero fridge and a Dacor Vent System. So not a bad set up!!!
Happy cookings.
