Pros: Good all around laptop Cons: Small monitor, loud fan,
I've had this computer for about two years now and it's been pretty good.
It's pretty good for a laptop. 6GB is certainly enough for any college student like me, who basically needs the computer to write papers, maybe play a few games and play...

Pros: it's got everything I need- and celeron fast enough and costs less than pentium Cons: modular design makes for loud operating noises
Well I finally got a computer that works, that lets me word process and use the internet- not just one or the other, plus I can print- which is always good if you have to turn in a paper. The screen is adequate in size (13" is a lot bigger than it...

Pros: nice fast laptop, good price, good features. Cons: the springs in the screen break easily.
I own the 2595xDVD version. It is identical to the CDT but has a DVD/ROM drive with it and a better soundcard and video card. I got mine in August of 1999 and have upgraded it many times since then. When I first got it, it ran out of the box perfectly....

Works Great - (Touch wood)
by kpjdpp ,Jul 01 '06
Pros: Small size. Good for remote computing. Cons: Heavy compared to some of the latest SONY TX Series.
Bought this long time back in 1999. Still works like a champion. Had to takeout the W98 and put in W2K. Also lot of the crap they had, I took out. I use it for my home office and it stays always ON. I use it as a desktop replacement and mainly use it only to remote into my office machine and to surf internet etc. I even got a wi-fi card and it works great in my home network. Only time I remove from its docking station is when I go on vacations. Otherwise, it stays pretty much on all the time. I have adjusted the settings so that the display goes off after two minutes of inactivity, which I hope will make the LCD screen last longer. I am very happy with it.
