Dell's the best!

The Bottom Line Dell has great customer service, they back up their product 100%, and I would (and have) recommend them to anyone who asked me.
I've never regretted getting my computer directly from Dell. I've had only minor (usual and expected) glitches, and always gotten great treatment from customer service!
I looked into various sites, magazine articles, and some studies on computers and their quality of function and service after the buy. By and far, Dell exceeded all great expectations... so I was convinced to give them a whirl when it came down to forking out my own money for such a machine.
As usual I had many bells and whistles, among other essentials, in mind. Luckily buying direct from Dell they will make the computer to fit exactly those needs and wants and budgets, however you'd like. I spent a good amount of time making these decisions with the wonderful help of the service rep who just happened to be the lucky one to get my call.
Even though we ran into a minor glitch in the beginning, my rep was still helpful and stayed with me through the whole transaction. You see, I (being the young one I am) have what is considered NO credit. It's not bad, it just doesn't exist, and companies don't want to take the risk. So we had to postpone the original order one week until I had a CD maturing to cover the cost. He quickly returned any call and question I ever had for him. He even put a fire under the billing department when they claimed my payment was denied (it was never even posted according to my bank) and got my computer to me even faster than originally planned (even with that small set-back).
I got my computer. Had (and continue to have) a ball with it almost every day. 30 days after I ordered it, I called back to check on the pricing status... the price had gone down over $150 so I got a rebate credited to my bank account in the amount of the difference (Price guarantee!)
Customer service is an important and essential part of any business. Dell proved to me their abilities in this area time and time again! (I even got culinary advice with my first call!)
