Beware of Honda Canada Finance

I purchased a new 2000 Honda Civic 2 door coupe SE model and, although I love the car, I feel that Honda Finance Canada has deceived me in the worst way. As I had to finance the car I asked numerous dealers if they had any special rates coming up on this particular model of Honda and was told that there was not, that no one was aware of any specials. One business day later, Honda announces a special rate on the exact model of car I bought!!!! Upon calling Honda Finance about it they have flatly told me that it was my tough luck and that "Honda would lose alot of money if they gave away when their specials would be" . I have been left out in the cold and Honda Finance has neither offered sympathy or compensation for this, what I feel is, deceptive trade practice. If the special had come up a month later I would have understood, but one business day is a little hard to swallow. This deception will cost me alot of money over the term of my loan and as I am a single parent it really hurts, especially when I trusted them as I did.
I will take this matter to the fullest extent of the law and will sue Honda if necessary (this is the saddest part, that it is all so
un-necessary). Buyer Beware....Honda seems to make a great car but their finance department leaves alot to be desired
