I bought an HP K80 and found out that they still don't have drivers to support anything beyond basic print and scan functions for Windows XP (as of 10 June 2002). Windows XP has been out for over 6 months and HP has yet to address this major issue....

I have had the printer for a little over a year. And now the problems are starting it seems. Not just one problem, but several. It is possible that I have a lemon, yes, but then again, who knows. I wouldn't take the risk again. It worked absolutely wonderful the first year. Great buy... But now what?
1) When you scan a photo, it has white lines running through it.
2) stuff you've sent to print sits there until you exit all programs or reboot the computer (a constant problem now) - this happens when you print from the web, MS Word, you name it - very, very frustrating.
3) The fax function is transmitting blurry documents on the receiving end.
Would I buy it again, I truly don't think so. Sorry HP!

This is a great printer. The Fax scanner and copier are also great. My printer came with XP print drivers and they are available on the web if you purchased this in 2002. The printer is discontinued but you may find some refurbs at Overstock,com
