When I fall into a new hobby, I tend to fall hard. It doesn't take long before I have tons and tons of supplies bursting out of boxes and bags and screaming for a proper organized home. Ceramics is my most recent obsession. In less than a year I've ...
Do not waste your time. I thought I would give them a second chance as they have good prices. This time, the order at best will not be sent until 6 days after I ordered! Then they charge 12.95. They use a fedex chart on the website but utilize ups. I ...

UN-Customer Service Oriented BEWARE! by typography ,Mar 01 '05
Avoid this store at any cost! I just spent 1/2hr on the phone with the "customer service" office and they refused to refund my shipping (which is $10.95 minimum) for an error in their website--"assorted paper" with pictures of different colors of paper and I received only 1 kind of paper and all white. I teach at an art school and was so inspired by their prices that I was going to refer my students to their site. Now they have lost my business, my students' business and hopefully yours!
Jerry's Artarama placed NO value in me as a customer. AVOID! by fredfass ,Dec 28 '04
My first (and last) order with Jerry's Artarama was for 150 acrylic box frames. This was ordered by phone and shipped. I received shoddy merchandise: they all had scratches, abrasions, and/or rough edges. They made the return process a long, arduous, and complicated nightmare (too long to go into here). They have since agreed to refund the purchase price but a very confrontational rep bluntly stated that the frames were "not defective" so they would not refund my original $50 shipping cost. Only a company with REALLY LOW STANDARDS would consider those horrible frames to be OK. I have since purchased hundreds of box frames from DickBlick.com. They shipped fast and were fine. Jerry's placed no value in me as a customer.
Buyer beware when buying art supplies from Jerry's. by rcsculptor ,Nov 30 '07
The website has a good selection of items with fair pricing. The ordering staff was very pleasant. That is where it ends with Jerry's Artarama. I thought I would try Jerry's with a small order to "test the waters". I am very glad that I did. I ordered my items shipped 2nd day air, on Monday. Jerry's called Tuesday with a quote for the shipping, which I accepted. That was the last I heard from Jerry's. Half of my order arrived on Friday, with the other half in an unknown status. I left several calls to their "customer service" people in the days between because I had a very bad feeling about my order. To date, I am unsure of the status of the rest of my order and have heard NOTHING (not one returned call) from Jerry's. I would not recommend Jerry's as an Internet supplier to anyone and I definitely will not be purchasing my art supplies from them.
